Who Teaches the Camps?
Summer Camp classes are taught by Christopher Healy, a 35-year veteran teacher specializing in acting, public speaking, media coaching, voice work, and youth confidence training.
Christopher will be teaching the camp program directly. Christopher’s wife, Shirley, who is also an educator, will assist with supervision, along with trusted assistants connected to Christopher’s acting program.
Our goal is to give students a safe, creative, structured, and supportive camp experience.

Students may work as performers, directors, camera operators, crew members, and scene partners.
They learn how to focus, take direction, use their voice, work with others, respond in the moment, and build confidence through active performance exercises.
The week builds toward a final Friday showcase for parents.
Students explore acting, drama, public speaking, cartoon voices, TV commercials, green screen scenes, teamwork, and performance confidence.
Students may work as performers, directors, camera operators, crew members, and scene partners.
They learn how to focus, take direction, use their voice, work with others, respond in the moment, and build confidence through active performance exercises.
The week builds toward a final Friday showcase for parents.
Weekly Camp Structure
Monday — Confidence, Commercials, and Scene Partners.
We begin with interactive exercises so Christopher can assess the group, build confidence, and assign scene partners.
Students work on TV commercials, improvisation, speaking exercises, and team-building activities.
In the afternoon, students receive acting scenes and public speaking material for the week.
Tuesday — Public Speaking and Scene Work
Students continue developing their acting scenes while also working on public speaking and presentation skills.
They practise using a stronger voice, clearer speech, better focus, and more confident expression.
Wednesday — On-Set Action and Production Day
Students are introduced to a production-style environment using green screen, lighting, sound, action-reaction scenes, and guided performance exercises.
The studio may be transformed into a themed set, such as an alien world, secret base, or adventure setting.
Students learn how to:
Students may also rotate through behind-the-scenes roles such as camera, staging, wardrobe, props, and crew support.
This is a high-energy day focused on teamwork, imagination, safe movement, and on-camera performance.
Thursday — Rehearsal and Voice-Over
Thursday is full rehearsal day.
Students rotate through acting scenes, public speaking, group work, and performance preparation as we build the final Friday showcase.
In the afternoon, students also take part in a fun group voice-over session connected to animation, character voices, timing, and expression.
Friday — Final Showcase
Friday is performance day.
Students rehearse in the morning and present a final showcase for parents at approximately 2:00 PM.
The showcase is usually about 35–40 minutes, depending on the group.
After the performance, students receive certificates and we wrap up the week
