COURSE DETAILS
This 8-WEEK course is about the imagination of the movies and the realities of television. This course is for beginners and intermediates with some acting experience who want to break into the film and television industry.
This course covers acting for the camera, improvisation, Meisner technique of living truthfully within imaginary circumstances, creating activities, creating scenes and acting out scenes, breaking down a script, what drives a story, finding character, working with actors and the director, hitting marks, knowing eye-lines, discovering inner dialogue and fun exercises that all emphases the excitement and realities of being an actor making movies.
Students will be working on varied scenes and working to the camera. Scenes must be memorized.
My classes are all about career development. Classes are dual purpose learning, where students learn about leadership, out-of-the-box thinking, confidence & character building, responsibility, working in teams, and the business ethic of being "on set", and on time ready to work.

Actors work individually and in teams, in pairs learning to 'act and react" off each other and will also work off Mr. Healy who will be the off camera actor from time from time.
