OLICY REFUNDS: Discontinuance and Refund policies: 90% refund granted up to 14 days notice in writing / email prior to course commencement date. 50% refund granted if less than 14 days notice in writing / email prior to course commencement date. 25% refund if less than 7 days prior notice in writing / email to the first class commencement date. No refund granted after first class commencement date. Students have the option of taking another course.
- POLICY ON MAKE-UP CLASSES: BEFORE THE COURSE BEGINS: if a parent tells me that they will be missing a day in advance of course starting then I can set up a make-up class where I can. However, once the course begins and students don't turn up for whatever the reasons are and yet they want make-up classes, then I will do my best to make sure that I can provide you a make-up class, however, I have very limited space in classes and as such, I may not be able to provide that make-up class. Having said that, what I will do is work extra with that student to help them catch up quickly in their next regular class session with the other students. There are no refunds or credits for a missed class. Make-up classes are not transferable to another course at another time. If you miss a class, you cannot ask for a make-up class a year later. The make up class must be taken during the same course that the class was originally missed.
- OTHER POLICIES: The student and parent / legal guardian acknowledges and consents that some acting and or public speaking exercises may require physical contact as part of the acting curriculum and public speaking exercises. No student is required in any scene or exercise or activity that makes them feel uncomfortable. The student and or parent / legal guarding is required to speak up and make their discomfort known prior to the exercise, scene or activity commencing. As has been the policy for over 30 years: parents are always encouraged to attend any of the classes where their child is in attendance. The student and their parent / legal guardian hereby agrees to waive any liability or responsibility on the part of Christopher Healy / Studio City North, Inc. for any physical contact and/or injury, which may result during the classes. ABSOLUTELY no recordings of any kind are permitted in the studio of any child and or of the teacher and or of anyone else in the studio without permission from the teacher in the studio at that time. Remember it is ILLEGAL to record a child without permission and then to post that recording on social media. You can record your own child with the teacher’s permission but NOT anyone else.
